Insurance
We participate with many insurances, but not every therapist is able to accept each one. Please reach out through our contact form to ask our Admin team about your particular policy. If we submit claims on your behalf, we will accept what these insurance companies pay, minus any co-payments, deductibles or non-covered benefits. We will charge you according to your plan details, so please call the member services number on the back of your insurance card to inquire about your behavioral health out-patient benefits prior to your first scheduled appointment. Generally, pre-authorization or referrals are not required.
We invite all to seek counseling at Mindful Counseling GR, even if we do not participate with your insurance. Ask your insurance representative if they offer out-of-network coverage. If the answer is yes, we will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit a claim to them. You will pay the full session fee at the time of service and your insurance company will apply the cost according to your plan details, including possible reimbursement.
Good Faith Estimate
Effective January 1, 2022, a ruling went into effect called the “No Surprises Act,” which requires mental health practitioners to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) about out-of-network care to any patient who is uninsured or who is insured but does not plan to use their insurance benefits to pay for health care items and/ or services.
