Bryan is a teacher and facilitator in the Relationally Focused Psychodynamic Therapy post-grad continuing ed program for therapists founded by Dr. Roy Barsness (author of Core Competencies in Relational Psychoanalysis).
Additionally, Bryan is the host of the Why in the World Podcast, which features deep dive conversations exploring meaning, purpose, and why we show up in the world the way that we do.
“Psychotherapy practiced from the perspective that the human person is complex, nuanced and in search of deeper meaning in their lives, requires the therapist to be a person who can sit with and participate in the heartaches of another person’s life. Bryan is such a person. He understands how common it is for us to split off aspects of ourselves we find unsavory and the subsequent negative impact on both the self and others, when we do so. By diligently attending to the unconscious and the unfolding repetitions in the therapeutic relationship, Bryan skillfully guides his patients towards change and transformation. He is kind, thoughtful and artful in his approach to this sacred relationship.”
